Workshop Day Two

The second day will build on the first with a focus on preparing treatment plans for individual children with several diagnoses and at five levels of development.

  3. Aspergers syndrome
  4. Down syndrome and other several oral motor concerns

  6. Late-talking children with otherwise typical development

C. Tools for building a daily Interactive life

  • The I-Map: a practical guide for learning to communicate in daily routines.
  • Conversation routines: practical models for preverbal and verbal children
  • Daily activity diaries for preverbal and verbal children

D. Live discussions on analyses of video taped interactions with a variety of children.

E. Making classrooms more social and communicative. Establishing 'conversation routines' as the key to a curriculum.
